It  provides an overview of various techniques designed to enable students to develop and practice the skills necessary for effective delivery of health promotion and education programs to various groups in a variety of settings such as: School; Community; Work-sites and medical care settings.
It includes: designing and delivering health education messages, counseling, group work, lecture, presentation, meetings, demonstration and participatory& experiential learning, problem solving/ decision making, community based health education, social marketing, health campaign, peer education/ working with volunteers, behavioral modification, life skills, role play, games, puppets. Maternity and Child Care.
