Nutrition Therapy for Chronic Disease

Students will learn all types of therapeutic diets used in the treatment of some chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes, chronic renal diseases, liver diseases, and cardiac diseases). Also, they will learn the factors associated with these diseases. The practical part of this course includes hospital visits to be more familiar with the diet therapy of the diseases covered in the course.
