Abdulhamid A. AlAbduljabbar got his BS from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, MS & PhD from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. He is currently an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at King Saud University. He previously served as a Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, and Riyadh College of Technology. He also held the position of Dean of AlAhsa College of Technology, AlAhsa, Dean of Student Affairs and Community Service at Prince Sultan University, founding Vice President for Student Affairs at Alfaisal University.
His research interest covers constitutive and fracture and fatigue behavior of materials with special interest in plastic and composite materials; with concentration on effects of hydrostatic pressure effects on yield and toughness.
Currently, Dr. Alabduljabbar is in charge of the administrative duty of Secretary General of King Saud University Endowments.
