يهدف هذا المقرر إلى تعريف الطالبة بأهمية الأسرة في حياة الأطفال ذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة ودورها في تنشئتهم وتلبية احتياجاتهم وتعريفهم أيضاً بالمشاكل والاحتياجات الخاصة للأسرة وردود فعلها تجاه الإعاقة والطفل مع التركيز على اتجاهات الأسر نحو طفلها وطرائق وأساليب إرشادها وتدريسها نظرياً وعملياً.
