· To understand the essential topics of biochemistry including biomolecules of proteins, nucleotides ,nucleic acids and enzymes and some minerals

· To make the student oriented with the physico-chemical basis of biological systems; and the related clinical problems.

· To familiarize the students with basic principles of Molecular biology and protein synthesis.

Mic. 351: Genetic of Microorganisms 3 (2+1)

Mic. 622: Advanced Pathogenic Bacteria 2 (2+0)

Detailed study of frequency isolated pathogenic bacteria including intracellular bacteria.
