Student midwives often encounter perinatal loss, such as stillbirth and neonatal death, as part of their experience of clinical practice. Coping with these events can be challenging because loss and death are the antitheses of birth, which predominates midwifery practice. There has been limited research on how student midwives are supported when caring for women with bereavement; however, poor support may have repercussions for future practice.
CSC227 - Operating Systems. This is an introductory course in Operating Systems. As such, it is intended to cover many of the concepts related to most of the actual Operating Systems. Although the study of a particular Operating System is out of the scope of this course, nevertheless, most of the concepts found in any existing Operating System will be covered. A review of computer system and operating system structures, processes and threads (concepts of, communication, synchronization and deadlocks), CPU Scheduling, memory management and virtual memory will be presented
