Effect of incubating egg exposure to magnetic field on the biophysical blood properties of newly-hatched chicks.

Abstract: Due to widespread of human exposure to electromagnetic fields, there has been increasing public concern
about the potential health risks from low-frequency electromagnetic fields; ELF-EMF. The magnetic fields (MFs) affects
functions of the living organisms, such as DNA synthesis and ion transportation through the cell membranes. In the
present work, the effects of short-term exposure to magnetic fields (MFs) prior to incubation were investigated on the

Physical Properties of Different Gold Nanoparticles: Ultraviolet-Visible an Fluorescence Measurements

Background: The light absorption and emission characteristics of Gold Nanoparticles (GNPs) are exploited in
detection and treatment of cancer. The properties of Nanoparticles (NPs) give them high potential for use in various
medical applications, particularly in diagnostics and therapy where they promise increased sensitivity, speed, and costeffectiveness.
The Ultraviolet-Visible and fluorescence properties of non-functionalized GNPs have not thus far been

Influence of titanium chloride addition on the optical and dielectric properties of PVA films

Polymeric films based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) doped with titanium chloride (TiCl3) at different
weight percent ratios were prepared using the solvent cast technique. The structural properties of these
polymeric films are examined by XRD and FTIR studies. The complexation of the dopant with the
polymer was confirmed by FTIR studies. The XRD pattern reveals that the amorphous domains of PVA
polymer matrix increased with raising the TiCl3 content. The optical properties of these polymeric films

Effect of gamma irradiation on biophysical and protection properties of Melanin.

Melanins are natural pigments distributed in living organisms and they are responsible for pigmentation
of surface structure. In the present work, gel exclusion chromatography, spectrophotometric, and
dielectric relaxation techniques were used to characterize DOPA melanin before and after irradiation
with 60Co gamma rays in the range of 5 to 50 Gy. The results show that the studied melanin is
composed of two structural groups. The extinction absorption coefficient and relative permittivity and
