English speaking learner’s attitudes towards writing Arabic as L2

Relatively few studies have investigated the attitudes of English-speaking
learners towards learning Arabic writing as a second language, compared
to those which have been done in the opposite direction. This article briefly
looks at writing systems in the context of SLA as a preface to examine L2
learner perceptions towards WS differences. Emphasizing the key

Investigating the language-gender relationship is said to show fascinating results. The idea of how women and men use certain linguistic features has been stimulating researchers to examine different languages from several points of view. This study explores language differences in referring to the other sex and tries to investigate the underlying reasons which cause this particular language. It uses empirical data to examine the Arabic situation of referring to the other sex.

Zinc oxide nanoparticles selectively induce apoptosis in human cancer cells through reactive oxygen species.

Abstract

BACKGROUND:

Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) have received much attention for their implications in cancer therapy. It has been reported that ZnO NPs induce selective killing of cancer cells. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms behind the anticancer response of ZnO NPs remain unclear.
