Child Health Nursing enables Students to gain a professional qualification based upon sound theoretical foundations, problem solving and ethical reasoning.
This course focuses on the concepts of the nursing process and holistic caring for children and childrearing families. Nursing care of the child with acute, chronic and/or life-threatening conditions is discussed. The family centered care will be highlighted throughout the course. Supported by fantastic lectures and practise mentors that offer structured lectures and clinical placement to meet the needs of nursing education.

This course focuses on the application of the paediatrics nursing theoretical knowledge in the clinical area, Using the nursing process as a tool while giving nursing care to children with different medical –surgical problems. The student develops skills in observing and caring for well and sick children during their stages of development from birth to the adolescent, in the hospital.
