Post-graduate Msc Course dealing with the physics of the Sun and both quiet and eruptive associated phenomena.
Some Solar observational aspects are also introduced.
The course is intended to Students willing to continue their research in the field of Solar Astronomy

The course covers the classical mechanics of particles and systems. After introducing some mathematical tools, we treat Oscillatory Phenomena (both Undamped and Damped ). The course covers as well The Lagrangian mechanics, Calculus of variations and The Hamiltonian formalism.
By the end of the course, the students should be able to solve mechanical problems using these new concepts and see the differences with the classical Newtonian approaches.
Solving systems of linear equations, Matrices, Determinants, Vectors in 2 and 3-dim spaces, Vector Spaces, Inner Product Spaces, Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors and Diagonalization.
