تهدف هذه الورقة إلى التعريف بإستراتيجيات قراءة الكتب المدرسية لما لها من أهمية للمؤلفين والتلاميذ والمعلمين على حد سواء، ولقلة ما كتب حول هذا الموضوع باللغة العربية. ومن خلال تدريس التلاميذ إستراتيجيات قراءة الكتب المدرسية يمكن مساعدتهم في الاستفادة القصوى من الكتب المدرسية، كما يمكن زيادة دافعيتهم نحو التعلم، وزيادة مستوى فهمهم لما يتعلمون.
وقد قسمت إستراتيجيات قراءة الكتب المدرسية في هذه الورقة إلى ثلاثة أقسام، وذلك على النحو الآتي:
أولاً: إستراتيجيات النظرة العامة التمهيدية، وتتضمن: إلقاء النظرة العامة، ووضع الأسئلة.

ظهرت في الآونة الأخير نداءات متعددة من بعض التربويين لإصلاح التعليم العام، والرقي بمستواه، ومعالجة عيوبه، وتطوير مبانيه وإمكاناته البشرية والمادية. ومع أن الإصلاح المطلوب يشمل كل مظاهر وآليات التعليم العام مثل المناهج الدراسية، وطرق التدريس، والوسائل التعليمية، والبيئة المدرسية؛ إلا أنه يجب أن يتوجه بدرجة أكبر إلى المعلم بوصفه الحلقة الأقوى في عملية التربية والتعليم، وهو المحرك أو المتوج لأية جهود تصب في إصلاح أو تطوير التعليم.

OBJECTIVE:

Candida albicans is the most numerous commensal and potentially pathological yeast in the human oral cavity. The purpose herein is to investigate the ability of C. albicans to form a biofilm in the presence of periodontal ligament (PDL) fibroblasts.

MATERIAL AND METHODS:

Osteoradionecrosis of the jaws is one of the most serious oral complications of head and neck cancer radiation therapy. It is a self-progressive process of bone destruction that is very difficult to treat. In this report, four patients who are susceptible to osteonecrosis of the jaw presented for endodontic management of nonrestorable teeth. The first patient had two molar teeth with necrotic pulp and was treated with nonsurgical root canal therapy (NSRCT) followed by crown amputation and hemisection.

Objective: The purpose of the present investigation was to analyze the effectiveness of using the EndoActivator™ (EA) system (DENTSPLY Tulsa Dental Specialties, Tulsa, OK) throughout the cleaning and shaping process to disinfect root canals contaminated with Candida albicans .
