The aim of this course is to understand the mmechanism of genotoxic carcinogens and epigenetic carcinogens. How the environmental occurrence, and the environmental fate cause human exposure to carcinogens. This course also will focus in toxicity of molecular Oxygen, oxidation reduction biochemistry, xenobiotic induced methemoglobinemia and biotransformation of carcinogens. The course will look at carcinogenic mutagenesis and the covalent binding of xenobiotics to nucleic acids and protein molecules.
Sandstone samples were collected from the surface type section of the Shajara Formation of the Permo-Carboniferous Unayzah Group for detailed reservoir characterization. Capillary pressure experiment was performed to contact porosity and permeability was derived from the Data. Resistivity was calculated from the distribution of pores and the fractal dimension was proven from the relationship between wetting phase saturation and resistivity.
The objective of this course is to give the students an introduction to research methodology. The students will have the choice to write about a small topic of their interest. They will learn philosophy and tools of research, such as how to review literature, how to write a research plan and protocol, and how to analyze, write up and present results of their study.
To provide knowledge on the Exploration methods for two main potential fields, namely; Gravity & Magnetics, focused on the followings:
(.) Basic physical principles for Gravity-Magnetic potential fields
(.) Working principles for Gravitymeters & Magnetometers
(.) Gravity-Magnetic Field Surveying procedures
(.) Data reduction & processing techniques using computers
(.) Density & Susceptibility properties for common rocks encountered in geophysical exploration
The course develops skills and knowledge required for proficiency in the safe supply of human blood products. A review of antibody-antigen interaction will lead to the practical application of antibody screening, identification, and compatibility testing. Quality assurance and safety of the blood supply will be recovered. Case study presentation will lead the student through problem-solving incompatible reactions, situations they will likely encounter in a working laboratory.
This course is a continuation of the previous clinical practice course and includes the treatment of special patient populations, individualized patient counseling and management, advanced periodontal instumentation, introduction to ultrasonic scaling and air-powder polishing devices, and the delivery of local anesthetic and antimicrobial agents.
