For SharePoint, it is the most web 2.0 technology used in the company as it is the norm and X11 housed Microsoft products, so I can see it supported by organisation and get pushed form management  more than others. This is way it is the most web 2.0 used for work related. But SharePoint is rarely used in a collaborative way even though it has blogging and wiki functionally.

According to W11 the compatibility of web 2.0 with the work process is easy and should not have an influence of employees’ adoption and engagement with web 2.0, whoever it is clear from the previous paragraph that was not the case with wiki adoption. I think the reasons is that they did not what to use for in the first place and then management did not show interest in it, so no one has used it and IT staff did not maintain it until it break down and this is how it died.

In this post and the next two posts, I will share with you my experience with one of the key Australian IT company. I will be talking about implementing what so called social media or Web 2.0 technologies within this particular company.
