The Cloud Infrastructure and Services (CIS) course educates participants about cloud deployment and service models, cloud infrastructure, and the key considerations in migrating to cloud computing. For all definitions of cloud computing, the course has resorted to the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology as a guide. The course covers technologies required to build classic (traditional), virtualized, and cloud data center environments. These technologies include compute, storage, networking, desktop and application virtualization.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to cover all clinical disciplines in dentistry. This is a conjoint course by all dental departments where contributors from all dental disciplines participate in both the lectures and clinical sessions. Lectures are designed to cover a wide aspect of advanced dental topics related to comprehensive dental care.
Clinical sessions are conducted to amalgamate the clinical experience gained by the students in previous clinical courses and provide them with an excellent foundation for comprehensive patient care.
Course Description: This course consists of a didactic and clinical component with four credit hours. It will cover:
1)The treatment of different types of periodontal diseases.
2) The interrelation between periodontics and related dental specialties.
3) Introduction to the surgical approaches in the management of moderate to advanced periodontal diseases.
4) Surgical implant procedures and maintenance of implant.
5) Communication, presentation and writing skills development.
