This course is about describing technologies involved in automated manufacturing systems. It includes an introduction to and sizing of hardware components of automated manufacturing systems, such as ROBOTS, transportation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, automated workstations, automated assembly lines, and flexible manufacturing systems.
