This Course is a part of a clinical rotation. It is a full time clinical clerkship for 12 weeks (preparing for internship in Medicine). Students attend bedside clinical sessions, clinical tutorials, work as sub-interns in the Department of Medicine, attend the emergency room and assist in various procedures.Internal Medicine Practice

Med Course 341 is the first clinical course for medical students. It is a 10 credit-hours course consisting of theoretical (lectures) and clinical components (bedside teaching). The main objective of the course is to master history taking, learn physical exam techniques and how to recognize physical signs. The course is taught over a 28-week period.

Course Description: Provide further opportunity for fourth year students to be exposed to the expansive filed of general obstetrics and gynecology. Emphasizes health care for women of reproductive and postmenopausal ages. Students will rotate through three clinical segments, including outpatient services (emergency department, outpatient clinics and offices), obstetrics (labor and delivery suite), and gynecology. The student is expected to do one overnight call during the rotation. .
