The course provides the studetns with the basic principles of Surveying applications such as: distance measurements; preparing maps, Area computation and levelling principles.

The course provides the students with a theoretical background and practical skills about Topographic surveying applications such as Tacheometric surveying, Traversing, Triangulation, Mauss haul diagram, precise leveling, curve design and principles of map compilation and hydrographic surveying.

 
The course provides the students with a solid background about satellite geodesy principles as well as the skills required for collecting, processing and analyzing surveying observations from current global navigation satellite systems.
