This course covers ethical issues regarding legal, privacy and intellectual property rights concerns and their application to information technology. It gives an overview of the subject aimed at raising students’ awareness about ethics in Information Technology and in research. It includes case studies to target specific IT subfields such as ethics in business and in the workplace.
This course introduces computer programming using the JAVA programming language with object-oriented programming principles. It is essential to acquire good programming skills, which help students to finish a lot of requirements for the future courses up till the graduation project.
