يهدف هذا المقرر إلى فهم التفاعل الإنساني مع البيئة, وكيفية مساهمة العوامل الطبيعية في تكوين المواقع الأثرية, والوسائل والتقنيات الجيولوجية التي يستخدمها الآثاريون لدراسة الموقع الأثري واستكشافه قبل البدء فى عمليات الحفائر.

يهدف المقرر إلى تزويد الطالب بمهارات تطبيقات الحاسب في علوم الآثار للاستفادة من تقنية الحاسب في البحث عن المعلومات وعرضها وتحليلها ونشرها، وكذلك لتجديد المعرفة وتحديث رصيد المهارات وشحذ القدرات التواصلية. ​

This course, as a continuation to Eng. 320 (Linguistics I), constitutes part II of the introduction of students to the discipline of linguistics. It introduces the students to the areas of pragmatics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics.
 
Objectives:
 
1. Define the basic concepts of pragmatics
2. Apply the theoretical concepts of speech act theory, Grice’s maxims, and politeness theory to linguistic situations.
