This course deals with the mechanics of human motion from a functional anatomy perspective. Special emphasis will be given on the nature of the musculoskeletal system, differences between normal and abnormal posture, as well as analysis of gait (locomotion).

This course will review the physiological principles of exercise including bioenergetics, energy expenditure, functions of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, neuromuscular and neuroendocrine systems, renal system, and the impact of training, environmental factors, ergogenic aids, nutrition, and body composition on exercise.

The course introduces the students to the management principle , Organizational structure, Personnel Management, record and documentation , departmental design specifications, and Values and Ethics in Physical Therapy department

This course is an overview of human anatomy (i.e., body structure and function), given in preparation for later courses that cover anatomical regions in greater depth. Special emphasis will be given on the musculoskeletal system
