In this course we will discuss the managerial sciences of accounting, finance, economics, human resources management, marketing, and operations management. The course will also discuss some indispensable managerial skills for today’s pharmacists such as decision making and conflict managemnet.

Pharmacoeconomics is the study of the costs and consequences (outcomes) associated with the use of pharmaceutical services and products. In this course we will discuss the role of pharmacoeconomics in the decision-making process and the different techniques of pharmacoeconomics evaluation and patients oriented outcome measures.  

An understanding of the laws, regulations, and the ethical responsibilities gives pharmacists the tools to meaningfully participate in providing comprehensive patient specific pharmaceutical care. In this course we will discuss the Saudi laws that impact the practice of pharmacy as well as the legal and ethical principles needed by pharmacists in their daily decision-making.
