This course is given to all 3rd year medical students throughout the academic year with two credit hour lectures. The students are taught basic imaging principles, radiological techniques, radiological anatomy, radiological findings in common diseases and role of various imaging modalities including plain radiographs, contrast studies, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear imaging, angiography & interventional radiology in patient management.
The aim of this course is to introduce the advanced concepts of computer programming using Visual Basic . It gives a theoretical understanding of the following: Revision To Programming With Visual Programming Advanced Menu Bar and Toolbar ,Window Form and Event Handling Introduction to LinQ and Generic Collection Object Oriented programming WPF Graphics and Multimedia Databases and Linq to SQL
Clinical Examination of the Visual System II OPTO 314 (1 + 2 = 3 Credits)
In this course, the second of a series of five clinical courses, direct and indirect Ophthalmoscopy, slit-lamp biomicroscope examination of the anterior segment, subjective refraction (monocular and binocular), stereopsis, color vision and contrast sensitivity, will be covered over ten weeks with two lecture hours and six hours of clinical practice per week.
