Clinical course
Holds in the 5th year for the whole academic year.
Clinical:

The students are required to provide comprehensive dental treatment for children age 3 to 8 years presenting with a wide range of dental problems

Clinical Pediatric Dentistry I Course Description: Credit hour : 4 credit hour Didactic and clinical The course holds in 4th year for one academic year Didactic Part: Addresses the different aspects of diagnosing, managing and treating the dental problems of pre-school and school age children Clinical Part: It is the first clinical course in Pediatric Dentistry. The course offers one session of 3 hours each week for one academic year. It is a clinical setting in which the student acquires the motor skills necessary to render care for children.

PRE-CLINICAL PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY

Course Description:

The course holds in the second half of the third year

Didactic Part:

The primary goals of Pediatric Dentistry include the diagnosis and prevention of disease,
The preservation of the natural dentition and the restoration of health,
Function and esthetics of stomatognathic system. The lectures will cover all these topics.
