This course is to examine with students the practical issues involved in advanced translation in the fields of economics and administration including economic issues, banking, trade, import and export, taxes etc. The students will have an opportunity to learn and share among themselves useful translation procedures and terminologies related to the field. Students sharpen awareness of translation techniques and enhance professional performance.

The course aims to introduce students to the processes of comparing, contrasting, and formulating typical Arabic and English constructions through the general hands-on practical translation of sentences based on grammatical principles.

We live in a world of intensifying global relationships, one in which international business has become the key determinant of economic development and prosperity. This course is designed to give students a fundamental understanding of the environment in which international business operates and of the business practices required to compete successfully in global markets. A secondary goal for this course is for students to develop the basic decision-making skills associated with managing different aspects of international business.
