The purpose of this course is to provide the students with the following capabilities:

      ♦ Understand the nature of Modeling and how to transform real life problems to models.

♦ Learn fundamentals of mathematical programming and its relations to managerial and economical applications.

♦ Understand the results of computer modeling.

♦ Discuss, apply, reflect on different models in real life situations.

♦ Develop skills in accessing and using appropriate learning resources.
