I have 27 years apicultural research experiences at different levels and positions.
Since January 2011 I am working in King Saudi University; College of Food and Agriculture Science; Department of Plant protection in Bee Research Unit as senior researcher

1.
Research project preparation and submission:
I have prepared and submitted five research projects to the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in two of them I am principal investigator (PI) and in three of them I am CO –PI out of five submitted project three of them are accepted and two of them with high recommendation and the remaining two are waiting for the reviewers reports. The accepted projects are going on smoothly.

In my two and half years staying in KSU my first year (2011) was the preparation year and most of the publications mentioned above are in 2012 and onward.

Moreover I am personally assisting many postgraduate students (Hossam, Abd El-Raoof and others) in editing their thesis project proposals, giving ideas and suggestion to improve their methodologies

Working as a coordinator
Currently I am working as coordinator of the various bee research activities which are part of the accepted project and most of them are implementing at Al-Baha at the center of the beekeeping potential region of the country. We are working very closely with the beekeepers and we are developing and conducting researches based on the problems and demands of beekeepers.

Physical and chemical properties and detection of adulteration of beeswax of Saudi Arabia.

Performance evaluation of different honeybee races under local conditions

Evaluation of different commercial bee feeds to local honeybees
4.
Inventorying and evaluation of honeybee plant of Albaha region
5.
Determination of suitable hive volume for local bees and conditions
6.
Determining suitable pollen traps for size of local bees
7.
Characterizing honeybee forage plants of Al-Baha Region
8.
Socio-economic survey on beekeeping production system constraints of adoption of improved beekeeping technology and many others.
6.
Establishment of reference materials
6.1
I have been working to establish herbarium of honeybee plants of Saudi Arabia. So far more than 159 honeybee plant species specimens were collected, identified and their voucher specimens are mounted and documented for further references.
6.2
I am working in establishing of collection and preparation of reference slides pollen grains of honeybee plants of Saudi Arabia (so far more than 120 honey plant species references pollen grains prepared and documented.
