BA Mass Communication the King Saud University
MA the University of Leeds
PhD the University of Sheffield
I obtained my master degree in International Communication from Leeds University In 2006. I joined the Journalism Studies Dept. at Sheffield University since 2007 for undertaking the doctoral study. My thesis presents the process of televising the Majlis Ash-Shura in Saudi Arabia as a case study of a newly emerging political institution, and explores some insights of how political content treated in Saudi Arabia throughout state-owned television. In addition, my study examined the Majlis members' attitudes toward the introduction of TV cameras and its influence on their behaviours. In early 2011 I awarded my PhD degree.
