Bio: 
Dr. Kachanathu has received his doctoral degree (PhD) in Sports PT from Faculty of Medicine, Punjabi University, Patiala, India. He completed his post-graduation (MPTh) in Sports Medicine from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India and also earned his Master of Science (MS) in Psychotherapy & Counseling from IIPMS, Mumbai, India. He is currently working as a faculty in the College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Before joining KSU, Dr.Kachanathu held various academic positions for both post-graduate and undergraduate courses at the Universities of Maharishi Dayanand, Pt. B D Sharma, Manav Rachna International, and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences etc. Dr.Kachanathu’s professional career outside of academia includes Sports Physiotherapist for Indian Shooting Team and Federation of International Hockey. He has been involved as consultant Sports PT for various sports events at International/ National levels such as World cup Hockey, Commonwealth Games etc. and also impaneled as Doping Control Officer (DCO) for National Anti-Doping Authority (NADA) under Sports Ministry of India. He has also served as a Consultant in Physiotherapy in various reputed hospitals around Delhi NCR (Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science & Research/Johns Specialty Physiotherapy Clinic etc.). In addition to being an excellent teacher and clinician, his objective is to become a clinical researcher - to bridge the “vital gaps” in the delivery of evidence-based care to the patients. His areas of interests include Sports & Orthopedics Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation as well as Exercise Physiology. Dr. Kachanathu has presented his research findings at various prestigious conferences at international and national levels and also authored several publications in reputed peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Kachanathu has applied a combination of his academic and clinical practice experiences in freelance writing. He has authored a few books also.
