Name: Suheyl Sapan
Academic Degree: Ph. D.
Present Job:   I work currently as a professor in the history department of the College of Arts in the King Saud University in Riyadh.
I was received the Ph. D. in history for my dissertation entitled:" the Cultural Situation in Turkey in the Fourteenth Century of Hijra, corresponding to 1994", with the first honor degree along with a recommendation of publishing the dissertation and exchanging it with other universities.  
From 1995/1416 to 2006/1427, I worked as an information researcher at the King Fahd National Library in Riyadh. I also worked with the editing committee of theextracts bulletin issued by King Fahd National Library.
From 1996/1416 to 2004/1424, I cooperated with the King Abdulaziz Foundation in translating, classifying, and making reports of thousands of Ottoman documents related to the history of the Arabia and the Arab gulf.

From 1999/1419 until current, I cooperate as well with the King Abdulaziz Public Library.

2006/1427, I joined the staff of the King Saud University, College of Arts, History Department. I work as well as supervise theextracts bulletin of Islam and Current issues, issued by the King Faisal Foundation for Research and Islamic Studies. Three issues have already been published.
My main concern is aimed at the Ottoman documentation of Arabia Peninsula. I have written 29 books and more than 111 articles, especially in this field. Those articles are already been published in arbitrational periodicals.
I participated in many local, regional and international conferences.
