Work achievements:
Developed the lauded KSU ITQAN System for quality and accreditation management that will be upgraded to the ITQAN 2020 Planning Management and Perfromance Management System in 2020

Developed an award winning IQA(Internal Quality Assurance) the AuQS 2000 QMIPS, Au – IMS, Au – KMS and Au – PMS of Assumption University, Thailand (2003 – Present) and the state of art IQA of KSU – QMS for King Saud University (2009 – 2011), Strategic Plan 2008 – 2022 for Assumption University. Quality and Accreditation experience: Board of Assessors, TQA (Thailand Quality Award – 2008 to present and Team Leader from 2011 onwards), Assessors for CHE (Commission on Higher education) and ONESQA (Office of National Education Standards and Quality Assessment) in Thailand. Developed and updated 15 sets of IQA manuals and mechanism for Assumption University and 6 sets of IQA manuals for KSU.

Awards and Grants:

Recipient of the 2008 Award “Best Academic and Researcher in Social Science Discipline” from APHEIT (Association of Private Higher Education Institutions in Thailand), Assumption University’s St. Martin de Tours Award: Excellence in Performance Award, 2005 Fellowship for Summer Data Policy Institute by the Association for Institutional Research in US to study the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and National Science Foundation (NSF) databases and TAPS Grant by the AIR (Association for Institutional Research) in the US in 2008.

Board membership:

Member of Advisory Committee of AEH (ASEF Education Hub) and President of SEAAIR (South East Asia Association for Institution Research), Editorial Board of Editorial Advisory Board of International Conference on Business & Management Education and Asian Journal of Business and Management, and doctoral examiner for India and Australia, and chaired various thesis examination committees.

Academic positions:

Dean, School of Business (2004 – 2006), Deputy Director of Center for Excellence (2003 – 2009), Director of Center for Excellence (2011 to Present) Associate Dean for Graduate School in Asian University (2000 – 2003) and Director of academic programs developing a new management program. Consultant to King Saud University on Quality Management System.

Academic experience:

30 years academic experience teaching Strategic Management, Management Information System at Graduate schools of public and private universities in Thailand, Advisors of more than 5 doctoral dissertations, more than 50 MBA thesis, invited resource persons for more than 50 seminars and workshops for international participants in public and private sectors focusing on hospital and education sectors.

KING SAUD UNIVERSITY (January 2009 to present) 

  • Invited by King Saud University as Associate Professor in Strategic Management under the AOSR (Attracting Outstanding Scholars and Researchers) program to c0nsult on and develop the King Saud University Quality Management System. Resulted in the KSU – QMS (1st Edition, June 2009), KSU – QMS (2nd Edition for Practitioners, December 2010) and KSU – QMS (2nd Edition for Professionals, December 2010).
  • Member of King Saud University Quality Committee overseeing university wide quality and accreditation.

ASSUMPTION UNIVERISTY (August 2011 to present)

  • Was invited back to AU to take over as Director of the Center for Excellence to completely revamp the quality and strategic planning system of the university reporting direct to the President.

ASSUMPTION UNIVERISTY (May 2003 – December 2008)

  • Rejoined Assumption University’s Center for Excellence later the Office of QMIPS (Quality Management, Information and Planning Systems) to assist the President in the university quality assurance, information management and the planning management efforts. Developed the new AuQS 2000 (2nd Edition, 2003 and 3rd Edition, 2004) and the AuQS 2000 CQM (1st Edition, 2005) QA model and manuals of the university as the university standards and system to achieve education excellence. This culminated in the AuQS 2000 QMIPS Quality Management System (5th Edition, 2007) and the AuQS 2000 QMIPS Performance Management System (2nd edition, 2008).
  • Wrote the AU Strategic Plan (2005 – 2015) for Assumption University which was approved by the University Council in November 2015. Developed the foundation for the annual action plans and budgeting for the colleges and administrative units assessment based on the Planning Management System.

ASIAN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (Jan 2000 – March 2003)

  • In December 2000, was appointed the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies to establish the Graduate School of Business and its academic systems. 
  • Awarded “Rookie of Year Award” in 2001 by the Faculty of Business

ASSUMPTION UNIVERSITY (1982 – December 1999)

  • Taught in School of Management and School of Science and Technology from 1982 to 1994 teaching mainly MIS and IT related subjects  Appointed Asst. Dean of GSB in May 1996 and developed the academic systems making a leading Graduate School in Business in Thailand.  Presently teaching the Seminar in Strategic Management for the Ph.D. (Business Administration) in Assumption University, and Strategic Management and MIS in the MBA programs of Assumption University, Mahidol University, Thai-Nichi Institute of technology, Burapha University, Payap University and Stamford University.
  • Appointed as the Deputy Director of the CFE and later the Office of QMIPS in August 2003 to assist the President in the management and implementation of the performance management and quality assurance in Assumption University. The AU QMIPS system won the Commission for Higher Education IQA Award in April 2009.
  • Appointed Dean, School of Business Administration, College of Internet Distance Education, Assumption University in January 2004 to February 2005 to set-up the M.Sc. in Management Curricula and first online e-learning program in Thailand.  Appointed Program Director, Master of Science in Management, School of Business Administration, College of Internet Distance Education, Assumption University in September 2005 to present to manage the M.Sc. in Management Curricula.
