Short Biography Dr. Wahab Owolawi. (Associate Professor) Rehabilitation Sciences Specialty: Clinical Audiology 1. Ph.D Audiology (University of Ibadan, Nigeria) with specialization in Noise and Auditory Conservation 2. MSc. Audiology (Victoria University of Manchester, UK) with specialization in Malingering & Forensic audiology including Paediatric audiology 3. M.Ed Clinical Psychology (University of Ibadan, Nigeria) 4. B.Ed Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology (University of Ibadan, Nigeria) Dr. Wahab has about 25 publications in learned peer-reviewed journals and he has attended and presented research papers both at local, regional and international scientific fora He was briefly in South Africa where he served on the prestigious university research ethics committee of University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa. He also served as a visiting professor/external examiner to the then Medical University of South Africa (Medunsa)-now University of Limpopo, Medunsa campus, South Africa. He is a consulting editor to different but professionally related journals He is one of the only two fellows of Nigerian Speech & Hearing and a pioneer member of the Nigeria Board of Rehabilitation Medicine He is on the International academic keys who’s who in Medicine Higher Education Honour’s list He’s a member of several professional groups among which are Nigerian Speech & Hearing Association, Nigerian Audiology Association, Hearing International, Global Hearing Health Care, International Society of Audiology.
