Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
Design, edit, and revise a variety of technical documents recognizing and understanding the process of writing variety of sentences and expression used in science and engineering
Communicate technical information effectively in written, oral, and visual media.
Select, organize, reference, and present information in order to communicate a clear, grammatically correct message.
Compose coherent texts using content and language appropriate for the intended readers.
Understand the value of academic honesty and the rules governing it.
Demonstrate the capacity to integrate secondary sources in a critical, evaluative, logical, and analytical manner.
Show the ability to integrate summary, paraphrase, and direct quotations from secondary sources.
Understand writing as a process involving multiple drafts and editing.
Work toward developing individual skills to express ideas clearly.
