ALDI, a short of ALbrecht (Founder, Germany) and DIscount is a grocery chain with 8000 stores worldwide.
Groceries at Aldi are "shockingly cheaper" than those at Wal-Mart, or Trader Joe's. A few smart strategies have led to this success: Private Labels, No Frills Design, Insane Efficiency, and Customers at Work.
