Future of Amazon: A Pure Play or Enterprise?

Amazon will soon open a physical bookstore, 20 years after the world’s biggest online retailer started selling publications on the internet. The shop called Amazon Books at University Village in Seattle, its home city. The physical store will stock about 6000 titles, and the price of books will be the same as on the website.
Are the days of pure play retailers over? Is enterprise a better model for market coverage?
