Professional Overview:
Research Interests
In endodontic treatment, my interests lie in irrigation methods and material, specifically finding natural alternatives to irrigations solutions, as well as retreatment options and methodology.
I am also interested in dental education and utilizing innovative techniques for teaching, learning and assessment in the dental field. More specifically, I am interested in utilization of informatics applications in the advancement of dental education.
Current Funding:
I currently head a research group “ Innovations in dental education”, and I am a member of several other groups related to “Natural Products”, and “Medical Informatics”. These research groups have funds to assist in the research.
In 2011, I received a grant from the “Center for Teaching and Learning” in King Saud University to support innovations in my endodontic course.
