Course description:  

The purpose of this course is to review basic vocabulary and to bring students' vocabulary to the intermediate level, through the use of different techniques such as affixes, word formation etc. Students should be able to use and recognize at least 450 newly introduced words

• WEEK 6 : Food and Restaurant & International Relation & Suffixes
• WEEK 7 : Natural Disaster & Shopping
• WEEK 8: 1st mid Term Exam
• WEEK 9: **** BREAK ****
• WEEK 10 : Television and Newspaper & Travel
• WEEK 11 : Success, Fame, Pride & Argument, Sadness, Nervousness & Occupation
• WEEK 12 :Discussion of Exam paper & Ways of looking and walking

Grading Policy:

•  Home Assignments, quizzes and participation : 10 points (Copying Home Assignment from another student will cost you your grade).
• 1^st and 2^nd In-Term Exam: 25 points each (Cheating will not be tolerated, there is NO excuses will be accepted).
• Final Exam: 40 points.
