n  Worked as an intern in the period between July 21/2002 to July 10/2003 in the following specialties: Obstetrics and Gynecology in KKUH for 10 weeks, Elective Pediatrics Rotation in Sulaimaniah Hospital for 5 weeks, Elective Dermatology Rotation in KKUH for 5 weeks, Surgery in KKUH for 10 weeks, Pediatrics: 5 weeks in KKUH and 5 weeks in King Fahad National Guard Hospital ( KFNGH ), Internal Medicine: 5 weeks in KKUH and 5 weeks in KFNGH.

 

n  Worked as a pediatric resident in King Khalid University Hospital for 9 months, in the period between Aug 1/2003 to Apr 29/2004.

 

n  Worked as a pediatric resident in IWK Children Hospital in Halifax, Canada, for four years;  July 01/2004 - June 30/2008. Worked with Dr. John Crocker and Dr. Philip Acott in Pediatric Nephrology in IWK Hospital during my pediatric residency for 3 months: 1 selective and 2 elective rotations.

 

n  Completed Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology in University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, between July 01 /2008 and Mar 31/2011. During this fellowship, I was trained to use different modalities of RRT in children: Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, CRRT, Kidney Trasnplant. Also trained to do kidney biopsy.

 

n  Started working as a Consultant in Pediatric Nephrology in King Khalid University Hospital since April 01/2011 until now.

n  Received an award for best presentation in CAPN 2009, for an abstract: “Two Novel Mutations Resulting in Mild Phenotype of ARPKD”
