Rad 432 Clinical Practicum in Nuclear Medicine

1. Demonstrate an understanding of clinical applications of Nuclear Medicine.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of Radiation protection principles in Nuclear Medicine.
3. The course is designed to provide students with the principle of SPECT & PET as well as provide a review of many investigations such as bone, liver, spleen, gall - bladder, lung, brain, cardiac and kidney scans.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of patient care and patient preparation.
