CHM 564-Polymer Synthesis

The goal of this course is to expose students to the modern techniques of polymer synthesis and characterization. The course will focus on some of the key synthetic methods for making plastics and the characterization techniques for determining the physical properties of the polymers. Practical applications of polymer chemistry in society will be a theme throughout the course. Course Objectives/Topics: Polymer Synthesis and Characterization is a one semester course at King Saud University. During the semester you will be introduced to some of the advanced synthetic techniques that are central to polymer chemistry and the analytical tools used to characterize these materials.
