Eng. 320 Linguistics1

The course aims at introducing students to the field of linguistics and its five main areas, namely phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics. 
By the end of this course, students will: 
- Become familiar with the general concepts and core areas of language and linguistics;
- Gain theoretical and practical knowledge of how language is structured; and
- Understand the necessary terminology used in the linguistic description and analysis.
