Ali A. Alhajji

Bio: 
Ali Alhajji is a Ph.D. Candidate in the English Department at The Ohio State University and a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at King Saud University. He is currently working on a dissertation project exploring the relationship between cross-cultural communication and reliability in contemporary Anglophone Arab writing. His research and teaching also encompass postcolonial, translation, and ethnic studies as well as Southwest Asian and North African studies. Areas of Expertise include: 20th- & 21st-Century British & American Literature; Postcolonial and Transnational Studies; Anglophone Arab Studies in the Diaspora; World Anglophone Literature; and Arab American Studies.
