Course Content :

Units 1-12 are covered in this course , emphasis is placed on sentence structure and

comprehension of passages as well as learning basic tense  structures , verb to be and main verb ,

count and non-count  nouns , possessive adjectives / pronouns , adjectives and adverbs , and

comparisons .

The new structure or patterns and vocabulary are introduced in simple passages ,

practice is gained through questions – answer practice exercises , emphasis in placed

on forming correct sentence patterns using the vocabulary of the units and other

vocabulary familiar to students .

Comprehension of texts is taught and practiced with the aid of short passages through

the teaching units , the passages highlight the structures being studied in each unit .
