Ahmed Nadeem

I have more than10 years of teaching and research experience after my PhD in Biochemistry (2004) from VP Chest Institute, Delhi University, India. I have had around six years of post-doctoral research experience in the field of inflammation at University of Alberta; Canada, West Virginia University, USA and East Carolina University, USA. My research focuses on inflammatory/autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, psoriasis etc. Currently I'm involved in teaching biochemistry/immunotoxicology to pharmacy/dentistry students at KSU and also carrying out research on various aspects of autoimmune/inflammatory diseases. I have more than 40 peer-reviewed publications in reputed international journals to my credit. In last 15 years, I have presented my work in various national as well as international conferences for which I got several travel awards. I have also attended several workshops on various topics in last 10 years after Ph.D. I have been awarded Young Scientist award by Asian Scientists of Indian Origin in America at ATS Conference 2006. I was also awarded a research grant at West Virginia University, USA in 2008 for conducting research in the field of lung inflammation.
