I this course the students evaluate natural product preparations using different specific procedures. They study the methods used to test purity, physical and microscopic properties, constituents and contaminants including filth, herbicides and any additives for the drugs both in the crude form and in the form of pharmaceutical preparations. They discuss different methods to evaluate natural products in biological fluids. They study the current regulations of the ministry of health, SFDA and WHO guidelines concerning these products.
