COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Introduction to Applied Linguistics (ENG 222) course is a pre-requisite for taking Eng 492, History of the English Language. Students in this course are expected to attend all lectures throughout the semester. Please refer to the University’s Online Academic Portal, Edugate, for your timetable and enrolment details: https://edugate.ksu.edu.sa/ksu/ui/home.faces If you attend less than 75% of our classes you will be no longer allowed to attend this course nor attend the final test. If you miss a class, it is your responsibility to check the University’s Learning Management System (LMS) Portal, Blackboard, on a daily basis to find out what you’ve missed and how can you prepare for the next class meeting: lms.ksu.edu.sa Come to class ON TIME. If you are more than 10 minutes late, then you are counted as absent. Participate fully in class. Turn off you cell phone or set it to silent mode in class. Make up tests are NOT allowed.
