TRAJ 317- Computer-assisted Translation (CAT)

The course aims to offer practical experience in using technology and computer tools that play a significant role in the translation and localization industry. It also aims to introduce students to various types of computer-assisted translation (CAT) technologies and tools that translators are likely to encounter and find helpful in the course of their work. In addition, the course addresses issues such as how translators interact with such technologies and what impact the use of CAT tools may have on their careers.
