 Course Description 

This course will give an overview of basic viruses’ structure, taxonomy and replication strategies. In addition, represent a basic knowledge of properties and the differences between viral families. As well as, prevention, treatment of viral diseases and antiviral immunity will be covered. 

 Course Main Objective 

 

To be able to know brief history about the virology. 

To enable students with basic knowledge of structure, classification and replication of viruses . 

To represent the basic knowledge of properties and the differences between viral families. 

To know and understand cultivation techniques of viruses.
