AIM:
1. To understand the effect of systemic and local antibiotic therapy
2. Apply antibiotic therapy when needed

ILOs: The students should be able to:

• Comprehend the systemic administration of antibiotics in periodontal diseases
• Judge when to apply single or combination of antibiotic therapy
• Apply local delivery of antibiotics
• Apply local delivery of antiseptic agent.
