Sport Injures and First Aid BMB 213

 1.  What is the main purpose for this course?
This course aims to familiarize students with the different types of injuries that athletes and schoolchildren are exposed to in the playgrounds and to learn how to use them properly to avoid any complications.
The course deals with the types of injuries common in the sports field in general, mutilation, bruising, dislocation, fractures and muscle rupture. As well, as prepare and prepare the player to return to competitions. It also includes preventive methods to be observed, which can prevent most of the injuries of the stadiums, with first-aid knowledge, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Also includes first aid departments for wounds, bleeding, fainting, coma, concussion, spinal injuries, and pulmonary heart failure.
 - It aims to improve the professional practices of the students through their field research in the fields of their work, coordinated by the Faculty of Sports Science, Physical Activity and Community Institutions, in which they apply what they have learned from theoretical knowledge, skills and orientations. As well as to crystallize their ideas regarding the means and methods of prevention of injuries to stadiums, and by training them to submit a scientific paper.
2.  Briefly describe any plans for developing and improving the course that are being implemented.  (e.g. increased use of IT or web based reference material,  changes in content as a result of new research in the field)
Addition of a unit for the writing of a scientific paper on the subject of means and preventive methods to prevent most of the injuries of stadiums, through the work of the questionnaire by students, and the work of a field visit to some clubs
