Practical
Experiments include : Mp determination, recrystallization, simple distillation, extraction, synthesis of alkenes and unsaturation test, alkyl halide nucl. substitution, reactions of alcohols, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, amines, carboxylic acids (and derivatives) and diazonium comps., saponefication, reactions of carbohydrates.
